My Thoughts. Saturday June 5, 2025
I’m already feeling the effects of all this. What’s not being talked about are all the assistance programs that either stopped accepting new applicants for services or began tightening down on who could qualify long before this bill came to be. Their reasoning, “We are waiting to see what will happen within the government concerning funding.”
So, if you think this is a great thing I’m ashamed of you.
What totally boggles my mind are the people who work for such organizations who see firsthand what this is doing still support this trash.
Brainwashing is real ladies and gents and that’s what’s happening here.
Don’t let it happen to you. Don’t be taken in by the lies.
Be informed.
Something I learned and was not surprised about when I went to apply for a volunteer position with United way was that calls for assistance rose drastically last year and are rising steadily as we go. This is the part of the work that I have to be wary of and not let it stay with me all the time. There are going to be people calling for help and we won’t have referrals for them because more programs will be cut as we go along.
Stop! The! Madness!
