Hope is the Thing with Feathers by Beth Barlett
Reading this post brought joy and trepidation all at once.
Thoughts of what has gone before and what is to come as the black plague of the Trump regime spreads across the nation and the world beyond and joy for the birds which refuse to give into his lack of respect for nature and mankind.
The following link takes you to a powerful offering. A must-read during these uncertain times.

May 4, 2025I love this! Birds have always brought me hope, too. I noticed the return of the robins the other day and felt a lightening of my spirit.

May 4, 2025I know what you mean Jo. The birds all have babies, including the ducks and geese. I’ve learned a ton about waterfowl than I ever believed I’d want to know, but sometimes I’m known for leaving my apartment and going for a walk just because I wanted to see what was getting the animals all stirred up outside. Much more fun than emails and such. LOL.
