Holy Cow! My Virtual Life Gets a Reality Check #What’sUp

Holy Cow! My Virtual Life Gets a Reality Check #What’sUp

“Good grief!” I mutter as I delete yet another announcement I’d normally join in on into my trash bin.

I find myself totally amazed at how much time I was spending in virtual activities, as I declined invites for events happening Friday and Saturday.

Normally, I’m stuck at home but this weekend, I’m blessed with an opportunity to sell my books and a few pieces of pottery.

As it is, I might have enough for a day and half, unless people don’t buy books at all.

I am hopeful but nervous.

Sunday, I’ll return to hiding behind the keyboard but for the next two days, Chief Seeing Eye® Dog Blue and I are going to shine.

Blue, will be his loveable friendly self, and he’s gonna love getting in on the act of working the table.

I’m going to allow him pets. He will be sure and take home the pries.

Well, check back in soon to see how things go.

For now, I’m off to my Free to be Me call which somehow got changed to 2 PM.

Now, my friend, you wonder why I disappear so many times during the summer and autumn seasons. I love live events. I’m blessed with transportation options you don’t have at this point in your life, and you can bet I’m going to run with those blessings. Talking to people in person and selling books at fairs and festivals, etc, keeps me going.

    1. Hey Jo, yes this is fun. It’s also exhausting.
I won’t get in on aanymore fairs for this holiday season. But now I’ve my foot in the door, there are three I want to do next year and I’ve contact info for them all and am on announcement groups.
This is a big step for me since COVID.
Also, I’ll be able to do the Christmas in July fair. Always wanted that one.
      Thanks for reading and commenting.

  2. Wishing you very good sales and beautiful conversations with friends for the weekend holiday market. SSS if you know wht that means. lol

    1. Hi Lynda, thanks for all you’ve done to help me along.

  3. Hi, it’s Patty back to say,
Thanks to all for reading, liking, commenting on and sharing my post.
This weekend’s work was amazing, exhausting, Tremendous and Terrifying.
I sold every copy of Pathway to Freedom Broken and Healed: Book One How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life Second Edition I had.
I sold all but one copy of Bubba Tails from the Puppy Nursery at The Seeing Eye three copies of the anthology I’m in and several Christmas ornaments from my pottery collection.
I met some great people and Blue allowed me to see yet another side of him.
I’m going to have to do a little thinking about how to properly deal with it.
I had a great time with my friend Christy, who set up and took down my table every day.
She made sure I had what I needed, was a runner for both me and Blue and well, just the best friend a body could have.
    Well, off for now.
    Thanks guys.
