Good evening, I hope all are well. Here, I’m enjoying a splendid holiday.
Since it’s just me at the eating table, this means, I get to cook what I like.
What’s for supper?
Yesterday, I made a huge pot of homemade spaghetti sauce with giant meatballs.
I have enough spaghetti for a few days and this is good because I like spaghetti.
I also picked up a pan of homemade dressing from y local deli. I have a wonderful recipe for the stuff but it makes too much for one person to eat all on their own so I decided to treat myself. The deli makes it similar to how I do and it is good.
I have some no bake cookies and chocolate chip cookies and of course there is always hot coffee bubbling away.
I’ve had several drop in visitors over the last few days, I sent my grand some Christmas and gave out a few other gifts as well.
I’m getting ready to attend the ACB community virtual Christmas Tree lighting and best of all I still have power and internet.
Blue got a big squeaky football for Christmas. Of course I gave it to him early but he has enjoyed it much and heck, what else are toys for anyhow.
I said all that to say, I’m truly blessed and I hope you’re having a good holiday too.
Remember, don’t set your expectations too high, do the best you can with what you have be glad you have it and most of all remember happiness comes from within, not without.
Until next time, this is Patty and her furry sidekick, Chief Seeing Eye Dog Blue saying, “Happy Christmas, may harmony find you and blessid be.”

Merry Christmas, Patty. I wish you a restful holiday with good food. Awesome that you have had some visitors. My son and his family will come over tomorrow to open gifts and eat dinner. May the beauty of the season bless you.

Hi Carla, thanks for dropping into Patty’s Worlds ton this fine Christmas Eve.
Thanks also for sharing a bit of your Christmas with us.
I’m currently, sitting in my comfy recliner, listening to a virtual tree lighting.
We, here in the ACB (American Council of the Blind) have developed a huge Zoom community due to COVID Lockdown in 2020. This community was created in effort to keep our members together during lockdown and it morphed into this amazing giant virtual community which now sometimes has as many as 110 events each week.
We’ve crafting, cooking, book chats and all manner of other things going on all the time and now we’re all describing our ornaments which we are hanging on our tree.
We have people from all round the world and so whilst my big, Blue Dog snoozes on the loveseat I am enjoying this festive event.
Soon, one lucky person will be selected to climb up and place our beautiful star onto the top of the tree.
