I need to work more on the practices given here for grounding.
I believe the triggers described here, concerning feeling what others feel, contribute to the lack of ability I have to deal with large gatherings if there are many differing emotional stattusses.
I find that I can handle it best, when I can balance gathering time with alone time, and that I become imbalanced when those who are around me on a regular bases do not respect my need for private time as well.
