Go Away Snow! a Poem by Chief Seeing Eye Dog Blue

Go Away Snow! a Poem by Chief Seeing Eye Dog Blue

When it began, I thought I’d be a big fan.

It fell all around, around on the ground.

White fluffy flakes.

I leapt, bit, and had a taste.

For a while, it was fluffy on the ground, my mom let me sniff and play around.

Then, today, something changed.

The ground, it was all rearranged.

The fluffy snow got frozen hard as a brick.

Much harder, than the hardest stick.

It’s cold, hard, and wet.

This junk, I just wanta forget.

It makes me and my momma upset.

Go away you stupid snow.

We don’t like you no mo.!

I love Blue’s poem “Go Away Snow”. I’ll take it in southern Virginia. We only had flakes yesterday after freezing rain. Tell Blue I’ll take it and give him a hug for me.

    1. oh, Human Marlene! You don’t want this gunk. It’s all hard and like walking on a giant snowcone. It’s nasty, doesn’t even have any cherry syrup. I mean of all the nerve.

    1. Hi, thanks for reading. Just saw the weather report. Looks like another system coming to dump a few more inches in a day or two.
