Giving Thought to Email Writing #Tip

Giving Thought to Email Writing #Tip

Hi, everyone.

I hope you’re all doing well.

Here, It’s morning in the evening. I took an unexpected nap, so when Blue went back to bed, I decided to come hang out with you all a while.

I’ve also been answering a ton of emails. I tell you; those things multiply like rabbits in spring.

While writing emails to people I have both a working and friend relationship with I had to caution myself not to add on a bunch of personal blather when answering emails relating to our business.

A little goes a long way, and when you’re discussing something related to business it’s a great idea to keep the personal comments down.

I read over a particular email, cut out all but one or two short sentences of personal content and it read more smoothly and kept to the point.

I’ve been taking more time when reading and responding to email because I’ve come to realize important information can get lost in extraneous chatter.

Well, for what it’s worth, there’s today’s #Tip.

Until next time, Chief Seeing Eye® Dog Blue and I say, “Keep your nose to the ground and your tail waving at the sky.”
