Moon Phase waning Crescent

“As the moon doth wane, so do I release.”

Lady Laya MoonWalker

I woke with the dawn.

Blue gave a big yawn.

We snuggled,

We hugged.

We were snug as bugs in a rug.

In the shower I did get,

My anxiety wet.

I washed my fear of change away.

Now, I’m ready for a new day.

Good morning faithful followers everywhere.

I hope this message finds you well.

Here, the coffee is hot. The weather is not, and that’s the way Team Blue loves it.

As you can tell from the poem above, I’ve come to a decision concerning my Facebook debacle. Over the weekend, I’ll be working to collect the names of those I’ll invite to my new Facebook, client duties I’ll need to tend to, and once those things are completed, I’ll be deleting my old Facebook account. Sometimes to rid oneself of a problem, one must simply take out the trash.

It occurred to me last night while sipping a glass of white Moscato there were honestly a lot of things I’m following on Facebook that need to go. However, I am responsible for a group or two, so I’ll need to plan for those as well. It’s going to be a lot of arduous work, but it’s my belief once it’s done, I’ll be relieved. It’s quite possible what’s been going on of late is related to my EX. I’ve received a couple of notes from him via my website letting me know he’s watching and that he plans to make me miserable. Well, EX if you’re reading, guess what? You lose again. You’re always going to lose when you come up against me, because I’m stronger than you’ll ever be. So, in the words of one of my favorite country tunes, “Kiss This.”

Not yet sure what I mean?

Listen here to figure it out.

To all who are following here, if you wish to be included in my list of friends and followers in my upcoming Facebook Universe, please use the contact Patty link at the footer of this page, send me a note with your name and if possible the link to your Facebook timeline and any pages you have and I’ll include you on my list. Please don’t put this info in the actual comment section here. It will be seen as spam by the site, and you’ll be relegated to the spam folder.

Please do not use my email address even if you have it. Please be kindly respectful and use that email Patty link. It will enable me to correlate everything into an Excel sheet so I’m able to keep up with everything.

Now that I’ve gotten that noisome problem out of the way, it’s time to focus on the excitement of good things coming.

I’ll be meeting with my editor and illustrator later today. We’re going to hammer out the last-minute details needing taken care of so The Blended Lives Chronicles: Book One Sides of the Order can finally be released into the world. To me, writing and publishing a book is much like giving birth to a new baby. The last months seem to take forever. The anticipation is high, the nerves are raw and there are always idiot voices yammering in the background asking, “Are you sure? Do you really think you should’ve written that? Maybe you’d best reread it one more time.”

Well, I’m done with those voices, and am purging them from my head just as I’m purging people, places, and things from my life.

While all these things have been going on, Blue and I’ve been growing in our bond and work together. Chief Seeing Eye® Dog Blue turned 5-years-old on Monday October4. We celebrated by going over to Food City to join Dave Light friend and talk show host of AM Tricities where we talked about Blindness and White Cane Awareness Month. We ran out of time before we’d finished so Dave will be scheduling with me soon for part two.

Follow this link so you don’t miss us.

When we were through, we went downstairs into the main store and there we ran into a friend we’d not seen in a while, so while we waited for our ride, we spent a few minutes catching up.

I still need to do some birthday shopping for Blue. I want to get him a large, raised dog bed. I’m considering getting rid of the bed I’m sleeping in because it’s absolutely warned out. I’d like to replace it with a single bed, rather than a double, and I want to make it so Blue’s bed can be beside that so we can still snuggle. We’ve hard floors so I feel a raised dog bed would better suit our needs. They’re rather pricey though, so I hope my new book sells so I can send the proceeds to the raised dog bed fund.

Sometimes people write and ask how they can support our effort. If you look at the last link in my bio, you’ll learn how. Let me be clear, I’m not begging for money. Just answering Reader’s questions.

Well, that wraps it up for today. Blue and I are itching to get out into this wonderfully cool autumn day, so Thanks for reading.

Have a Scintillating Saturday.

May Harmony find You.

Blessid Be.
