Floating in the Blogosphere – a Poem by Patty L. Fletcher and her lively Muse #Inspiration, #Impulse, #PoetryPlace

Floating in the Blogosphere.

Floating,

Wordless,

Filled up with the muse.

Nothing to lose.

Back in a slump.

Gotta gets my lazy self off my rump.

Up!

Up out of Recliner Ville.

Back in the chair,

In front of the desk.

Hands on the keys,

Keys,

Keys which must be pressed.

Floating in the Blogosphere.

Floating,

Wordless.

Floating,

Floating filled up with the Muse.

Floating,

Floating with nothing to lose.

Doing the best I can.

Working hard,

I’ve gotta plan.

Be more like…

Advice given to me.

I’m myself.

Let the other ones be.

Be Themselves.

I’ll worry about being me.

I walk to a different drummer.

Glad to be me.

Me.

Me.

Me,

Floating in the Blogosphere.

Is that rap? Sounds like. Nice.

    1. No. Close I suppose. It’s a chant.
      Thanks for reading.
      Glad you enjoyed it.

I know the feeling. You encourage us all. Thanks for being you, Patty. I need to stop procrastinating and finish my series third novel.

This is great, Patty. I really like it.

    1. Thanks, Robbie.
      🙂

    2. Hi, again Robbie.
Some thought it was wrap. Others felt it could be a song. To me it is a poetic chant.

  4. Hi, Marlene.
What I need to do is be able to take three full months off everything but pottery and writing. Stop everything but the absolute necessary and devote time to just those two things. I believe if I could do that for three months I could determine whether I could make a reasonable living.
I have the opportunity. I just have to figure out the time.
Speaking of time, it’s time to take blue out again.
    Later.
    Loves.
