Field of Memories #Six-Sentence Thursday

  1. Thank you, Patty, for re-blogging.

    1. You’re welcome.

I totally understand Bill’s devotion to his team.

For good or bad, no matter what, I’m always gonna stick by the Braves.

      Food For Thought

We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.

      1. Good for you, Patty. Go Braves!

        1. To be totally terribly honest, this year, I’ve paid no attention to baseball whatsoever.

I’ve been so busy with my writing and business I just am so tired at the end of the day I just want to flake out with some book or podcast and do nothing.

          1. Well, I must admit but I have never been much of a sports fan. I only listen to games with Bill when he was alive. Now, I hardly pay any attention to the teams. So, don’t feel bad.

          2. Funny what we do for the men in our lives.

When I was with Donnie, I got totally into racing.

After he went away, for the longest kind of time a mutual friend and I would get together nearly every week for Sunday racing.

Then that friend grew very elderly and ill and his daughter moved him away to live with her, and over time my interest in racing waned.

I still catch a race now and then and occasionally I look at the stats online but mostly I don’t.

            LOL.

When I started seeing my continuing friend Bobby he was into football but that was just further than I was willing to go.

So, I told him, “Watch all the football you want. I’m gonna curl up here on the couch with a book or my computer and do my thing.”

He didn’t care and I didn’t have to try to understand something that try as I might I probably never would.

I did get excited watching him get excited though. LOL.
