Family – Summer Cold – and Email O My! #What’sUp

Good morning, Everyone.

I hope you’re all doing well.

Here, Blue and I are gearing up for day two of our family’s visitation.

We went over to their rental house yesterday afternoon and hung out for a bit. Blue and the kids got along fine, and he was quite well-behaved. I’ll be writing all about it soon so watch the blog for updates.

This morning, I’m still dealing with a summer cold but it’s getting better. My six-year-old granddaughter Lucy has the same junk. Polly is threatening us with the sick corner. I’m going to tell lucy today, that if she makes that threat again, we’ll just sneak all the ice cream into our sick corner, and they won’t have any.

One problem we’ve not been able to fix is that we cannot all fit in the van at the same time to go anywhere together.

I have a plan so stay tuned to see if it pans out.

I’m going to scan through the couple hundred emails I have, cull out the important ones and delete what’s junk hopefully that will set my inbox right.

Have a super day and remember, I’m on a staycation this week.

  1. Hi Patty, it sounds like you are having fun with Lucy despite the cold. Congrats on finding a new place to live. Enjoy the rest of your staycation.

    1. Hi Robbie, we didn’t finda new place to live. My daughter son in law and grands are visiting from out of town and rented an Air B&B house rather than staying in a hotel. That’s where they’re staying while they’re here.
We visited them on Monday but have since learned i’m COVID positive and so I’m now in isolation.
      Thanks for reading my post.
