Welcome to another Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up. This week’s given word is “balance.” The idea is to write something in exactly six sentences, using the word at least once.

This week’s contribution is an excerpt from My Ideal Partner, a memoir in which I talk about how I met and married my late husband Bill, then cared for him after he suffered two strokes until he passed. Here, I’m describing how we handled one of many falls Bill experienced while I was lifting him.
