*Note*
This is in no way a slight.
It’s just what came to me.
if you expect it to happen it most likely will
law of attraction
is quite real
allow the goodness to flow
by believing
expecting
knowing
it is so
and it will come to be
if one always fears the worst
it too comes to be
don’t you see
if you think it
believe in it
expect it
it will be

No jab here, this just came to me like my poems always do after something turns my brain on in the morning.
I’d been thinking about this yesterday. As with all of us, while I was rushing around doing last-minute things for my trip, I got thinking about all the possible bad things which might_ happen.
Then, I rebuked myself with the reminder of if I think too much about that nonsense it will come to be.
If, major upheaval was happening somewhere close to me, I might reconsider, but in the large scheme of things it’s not as scary as the news makes it out to be.
My dad related a bunch of angry behaviors where he lives.
Here, where I live though we have troubles, it’s not the focus and so that’s not what shines out.
I countered every negative thing he said the other day with a positive so much he finally gave in.
Someone asked me a while back as I was leaving the bakery with a bunch of goodies and another new friend I’d made while there how I could always smile when I had to face such ridiculousness. This came after I’d dealt with someone who did not want to understand that I did not step in front of them on purpose and as soon as I realized they were there I stepped back behind them because I am blind.
I sluffed it off as someone’s problem not mine and began a conversation with someone else in line who had spoken and helped me out. I did not focus on the nonsense because I was too glad to be able to be there under my own power with my own money.
Every time any of us takes a breath it could be our last. We mustn’t waste that time with fear, negativity, and strife. Sure, be cautious but never, ever, allow it to stop you from living.
Let the good Creator take care of you.
Be happy.

September 22, 2026Hi, Abbie.
Again, no jab to you but lately there are a lot of people living fearfully because of the media hype.
Not saying things are not bad. They are truly terrible and if we don’t get a handle on it soon it’s gonna get worse, but we mustn’t let their fear mongering stop us.
That’s a form of oppression.
