Everyday People

Everyday People

I’m not a super athlete. I have no law degree. I don’t have lots of money to give. I only have me. I volunteer when I can. I do all that I can do. I am a regular person. Not a rock star.

I’d like to send a message. Yes, tell all of you. When you are looking for someone to recognize or reward, this is what I have to say to you.

Think about the everyday people. The ones who are fighting to survive. You know? The ones who have no families or partners those who can drive. We are out there every day, hustling to make it happen. We are out there every day raising families, volunteering, being the best that we can be. So, all I’m asking is remember the everyday people. Because we are important too. This is all I have to say. So, thank you.

Hi Patty, a lovely tribute to ordinary people.

    1. Hi, Robbie.
      Thanks for reading and commenting.
Sometimes I feel as though I’m lost in all the shining stars.
      Others feel this way too.
I find myself working to get into committees, and other such things within an organization which I hold deer but I find most people are happier with all the shiny people and I have to say that if people look at the everyday people they’ll find their shine runs deep where as all the shiny people rub off their shine and sometimes what’s left within aint all that awesome.
Glits and glammar isn’t what’s needed and isn’t what runs the world.
