People have no right to presume they know anything of my life.
Mind your words.
Mind your business
And stay the hell out of mine.
Backstory
Just a moment ago, someone wrote an email to me telling me I shouldn’t ask my dad for money to help with my hearing aids.
First, my father offered. I would never have asked. I never ask for anything.
But people who have money who have things taken care of for them who think their shit don’t stink think they’ve the right to judge my life.
I am certain they’ve never been nearly homeless. And I am certain they’ve never been truly hungry.
I have.
I know what it is like to do completely without. I have refused to allow people into my home at times because I had no food and once, I even had no running water.
Not because I waste my money as this person also once accused me of doing.
Not because I mismanage but because I just don’t make enough to survive.
I am now sitting here crying and feel worthless because I accepted my father’s offer. I know he would not have made the offer if he did not have the money, and not that I owe anyone an explanation but my dad is dying and he wanted to help me in a way that would not affect my benefits so he’s been doing things for me because he wanted to see me successful and happy before he dies.
How dare people think they know a damn thing about my life.
I’m so hurt and furious.
People just need to mind their fucking business.
