Doing a Better You and Six Things a Neurologist Does to Keep His Brain Healthy #HealthWorld, #MentalHealthAwareness

Good morning. I hope all are well.
Wellness is what I’m writing about today.
Join me in the “Journey to be well.”
Then, continue below.
I read the article at the link below, and it spoke to me in a huge way.
I really need to work harder to eat like this. Dementia and similar disorders frighten me to pieces as I’ve no one to care for or love me through such an illness, and no financial security to see me through to the end.
I try to avoid the things I know I shouldn’t eat, and what he says here about eating less making you want less is true. I’ve already started making that change. Life circumstances and finances forced me to make different food choices at first, but in the end, they taught me something important.
Increasingly, I feel convicted in my heart to build a healthier life for myself.
I also had a cancer scare. No, it wasn’t the kind of devastating battle so many people endure, and I know I was fortunate. We caught it early. Still, I’ll have to be checked every two months for the rest of my life as long as I still have body parts, I no longer need and requested be removed when the cancer was being dealt with. If I don’t do everything humanly possible to take better care of myself, that would be foolish.
I’m trying to do better, one choice at a time.
Now, I invite you to read this article and think about the choices you’re making. Whether they’re physical health such as healthier eating, mental health, recreating your life in some way, or taking back control of the life you once had, whatever change looks like to you, let’s start with a healthier body so we can live the lives we were put here to live.
Remember no one will care for you better than you. & You’ll live with yourself every day for the rest of your life.
Words without action are a pour substitute for solution.
