I’d be very interested to see what others who write fiction and especially mysteries think of this.

For me, I let my imagination and my characters rule the day.

Plot templates seem to structured for me. I suppose someone who requires controlled structure would thrive on that but personally I think it’s over done.

To me however, in writing, there is no right way, no wrong way just the writerly way.

Which means whatever works for you.
