Cowardly Pride a Poem Inspired by the #SixSentenceStoryThursdayLinkUp

Good morning, and happy Thursday to you.

Here’s my first ever contribution to the Six Sentence Story Thursday Link Up.

“I don’t think it cowardly pride, to decide not to fall on my behind.

Instead, I believe it wise to remain upright so on my back I don’t slide.

It’s cautiously wise, when one decides, to be careful with their body and peace of mind.

I’ve no cowardly pride.

I’m just cautiously wise.

I’m tossing cowardly pride to the side, while in my recliner I do reside.

    1. Hi Abbie, you’re welcome for my share. Thanks for the inspiration.
I think, I accidentally took your title though.

      1. Well, you stated that my post inspired it. It didn’t concern me. So, no worries. I’m glad I inspired you.

  2. I didn’t think it would and by the time my over stimulated brain figured out what I’d done I didn’t have the energy to change it. 🙂
