Computer down: dictation.

Computer down: dictation.

Hello everyone.

I am writing to let everyone know that my computers are currently off-line. This morning or I should say this afternoon someone working with blind services pick them up, to take them to be repaired properly.

When it is completed I will have one good working laptop. This is going to be a very big source of frustration for me.

Of course in the end, it will be a good thing, but in the meantime, a lot of projects are going to have to be put on hold.

I will not be able to do any guest author post right now. And, as it currently stands, I won’t be able to do any columns.

I will however be able to re-blog things. On that note, I would like to ask all of my fellow bloggers, to please when possible re-blog my clients work and, if possible, make yourselves available for those who do not have any blogs at all to find places on your blogs.

I do not know how long my computer will be gone, and this is very frustrating to me.

I think everyone in advance for your support. Love to all.

  1. Don’t let this stress you. What will be, will be. I was without internet for 5 days and thought it would be just awful. But I did other things I had been putting off and I survived. Perhaps we rely too much on technology. xo

    1. Oh, yeah, this is a little more than just being out of Internet. This is just a little more than five days being without something to do. It is not about that. I have a business to run. For which I get paid. Without this business, I don’t pay all my bills. I can’t afford all my groceries, I live on a fixed income. So yeah, this is just a little stressful for me. What I do on my blog, my Facebook, my other social media, it’s not a hobby. It’s my living. That’s what I meant when I posted that post about being self-employed the other day. I do not get sick days. I do not get personal days. I do not have money coming in if I am not working. So yeah, this is just a little stressful for me. I don’t have a partner, who is bringing in a paycheck. I live on disability. To be exact, I draw $1087 a month. And my rent alone is $700. So you do the math. Yes, it’s important when I don’t have a computer.
