COFFEE WITH PATTY AND BLUE

MOON PHASE WANING CRESCENT

Good morning, I hope this post finds you doing well on this #TremendouslyTerrificTuesday!

I woke in the early hours of morning. “Hey Siri! What Time is it?” I called, my voice thick and furry with sleep.

“The time is 3 AM.” The voice shot back in what I’d almost swear was a tone of smug glee.

Slipping cautiously out from underneath the half of Blue which was draped overtop of me on checking my medicine notes, I saw it was past the 12-hour mark on my Mucinex so went to the kitchen for a dose.

Once back in bed, it didn’t take long for me to realize I wasn’t going back to sleep.

I got up, showered and dressed, made a pot of coffee and poured up the tea I’d had steeping all night.

By this time, Blue was ready to go out and be fed. He wasn’t sure why his mother was up in the dark but if she was putting on clothes it must be time to get up.

Once Blue was walked in the yard in front of our building and had relieved, I fed and watered him after which he snuggled a moment then, crawled back into bed.

Finally at my desk, having a nice, strong, hot cup of coffee with one of my favorite Creamers, I was reading one of the various newsletters I receive from the Washington Post and came upon this article which talks about alternative social media.

Before I share the link, I must say I guess I don’t use FB and Twitter like other people.

I follow my clients and some of their followers. I have personal friends I’ve known from other places for years and of course there are the awesome readers and last but absolutely not least my incredible family.

I don’t have a big watch list. I don’t do a lot of video chats and stuff and because of that I have the type of relationship described in the article concerning the alternate social media platforms.

At the same time, I realize there is much about social media I still do not know.

OK. Enough from me.

*CALL TO ACTION FROM AUTHOR PATTY L. FLETCHER*

Dawn and Colleen from Two Pentacles Publishing and I have been working on logos which represent Tell-It-to-the-world Marketing (Author, Blogger, Business, Assist) as a whole business while showing the individual portions and all they do as well.

Your thoughts are welcome.

So far, the comments I’ve had have ranged from, Wow that’s pretty. Which is nice but not helpful to The last one is a little busy for me. Which was helpful.

Please feel free to comment with your thoughts.

Patty’s World Basic Logo:

Unlabeled graphicA circle with text reading “Patty’s World” diagonally across (right side lifted slightly).

The circle soft green with a light blue border (colors matching the Patty’s Worlds website). The

text is all caps and looks handwritten, similar to a comic book. The text is the same color blue,

but with a darker teal outline around each letter to distinguish where they slightly overlap the

circle’s border.

This is the base level logo and all of the others build on it, using the same coloring, font, and

design with elements added.Talk to Tell it to the World Logo:

A charcoal colored pair of sylized headphones sit on the circle. On either side is a rounded ear

piece, and a headband reaches above the circle (with a small gap of space between the

headphones and circle) and connects the two sides.Tell it to the World Marketing Logo:

In front of the circle (on the right side) stands a stylized square microphone with a rounded

Two grapevines wrap around the border of the circle, one reaching from about nine o’ clock to

about twelve, and the other winding between four and six o’ clock. The vines are dark gray with

three-pointed, rounded leaves. The vines wrap around the border of the circle and have

occasional loops and coils.Patty’s World Stacked Logo:

Unlabeled graphicAll of the previous logos stacked on top of each other.

The circle is the same coloring and style, with the same font. The headphones, microphone and

vines are all present and overlaid into a cohesive image. The only changes are to the

headphones and microphone, which are both a dark teal color, rather than the dark gray of the

other logos. That way the vines are visible and not washed out by the other components.

The text reads simply “Patty’s World”.

  1. Nice to hear that you are getting an updated logo for Tell it to the World. You will be so happy to get that done. Nice that all of your media will have a uniform look to it also. Good move for you.

  2. Nice to see a picture, I can’t process the descriptions…
