Changes Coming at the First of the Year
Good morning, I hope all are well.
Today, I’m giving great thought to how things will go after the first of the year for TTW Marketing Services. It appears to me, for whatever reasons, people are by and large not interested in participating in the services I offer, even if they’re paying for them. The services page on my blog explains in detail how those services both paid and free work.
I’ve been doing this since 2017 and I feel it is no longer benefitting me or those it was intended to serve.
Between now and December 31, 2023, I’d like for those who work with me in any way to think about what you’re doing, why you’re doing it and what if anything you wish to gain from having my services.
Also, for those who are receiving services from me from the agreement I made with the Dvorkins for 6 years of services at no cost other than those which came after that agreement was made you should note that ends on December 31, 2023, as that will make the final year.
I’m quite doubtful of continuing the business as is after the first of this new year. Those who have been consistently providing content for me to use on their behalf can expect to get a private email from me explaining how we can all continue together.
I will not be taking any new clients, and I will be removing and redesigning the ad pages on my blog during the next month or so.
Also, please remember that you have until Dec 3 at 5 PM eastern to submit via use of our guideline’s contributions for the holiday extravaganza. As of this writing, we do not have enough to justify the cost of producing a magazine if this does not change by the deadline, I will place those works I received onto my blog.
Before I continue let me say the next thing, I write may seem rude and it is not meant to be. I’m a realist and it just is what it is.
If you contact me concerning my working with you in any way whether it is to say you’d like to continue in some way or that it doesn’t work for you right now, the first thing you should know is there is no wrong answer and you’re under no obligation.
The second thing you should know is I really don’t want excuses. We’re all busy. We all have things going on in our lives. Life sucks sometimes and sometimes you just need to step away. However, this is business. Your writers, business owners, nonprofit workers, what have you, if it is important enough for you to pay for, it should be important enough for you to work at.
At the same time, I am friend to many of you. However, that ends when you step from the friend side across the line to business side. I should not need to beg you for your content. You came to me. I did not come to you other than with ads about who I am and what I do. You, and I use the word as a general term not a personal one, would not treat a business as some have treated me and to be quite blunt, I’m done putting up with it.
For now, I’ll return you to your peaceful day. Thanks to those who have truly respected themselves, their work and those who work with and for them to help them along their way to success.
