BUSY… BUSY… BUSY… ON A MAGICKAL #SOCIALMEDIAMONDAY MOON DAY MORNING

Good morning to everyone!

Today, is to be a busy day for me and it has truly begun! I woke at just before 5:30 AM with the sound of rain pounding down all around me and all I wanted was to snuggle deep underneath the cover and go back to sleep. That, however, was not to be. I knew I had to be ready to go out and about by 9:00 or 9:30 at the very latest and so rather than give into my desires, I extracted myself from the soft, snuggly, nest I’d made and started my day.

Of course, prince Edward was there to greet me with his normal declaration of, “Meow! Meow! MURRP! Can’t you see I’m starving here? For Bast sake it’s a famine and you’re sleeping through it? What type of human have I been blessed with anyhow?” So, before my morning’s routine of washing face, brushing teeth and hair and even coffee, I fed his majesty so I could walk about the house without his winding and yowling piteously under my feet, putting us both at risk as he did so”.

I feel I must be in training for the day when I’ll have a new guide by my side, and nothing can happen until I’ve taken it to relieve and feed. Aww, but I digress.

Once my charge was properly fed and snuggled, I set about the morning’s tasks. First, wash face, brush teeth and hair, and then make that all important cup of brew.

Once that was done, I made time for the morning news, and a snuggle session with my kitty while I enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee dotted with my favorite creamer.

When the news was over, Eddy had gone on his way to do whatever cats do in the early morning and my cup was empty I set about the morning’s chores. I started with a load of laundry going into the washer, continued with the emptying and refilling of the dishwasher and rounding it all off with cleaning the litter box and running the vacuum.

Once all those things were accomplished it was time to transfer the clothes from washer to dryer and then I poured myself what will be the only soda I have for the day and began going through emails and blog posts.

Today, I must go back over to Life Bridge and visit with Christy McMakin and one of her coworkers to sign paperwork which will hopefully qualify me for a grant to assist with some moving expenses, payment of utilities and other goodies I might have issue with while searching for adequate housing.

When that’s done, I’ll make a mad dash to the grocery store for a couple things I forgot on Friday, then it’s back home and to work for the afternoon.

I totally love being busy. I cannot stand to sit idly in my rocking chair while the world passes me by.

Well, before I get off on a tangent about the bad old days when I sat lost in my head, I’ll leave you with some info about Christy’s organization and other great stuff about her and what she does.
