Many times, when talking about this newsletter, we’ve said we’ll only write when we have something to tell you. And believe it or not, there’s still more to let you know.
Lately, much of the news has surrounded our brand new Barre Method Level One Workout, and we have just a bit more before we move on to other things. Just when we thought we had answered all possible questions, you surprise us with more.
If you haven’t listened to our podcast and heard us pronounce it, Barre is pronounced like Bar. Some synthesizers are saying it like Berry, and other interesting variations. And speaking of our podcast, Mel interviews Jennifer Kern, the voice behind this workout on Podcast 66.
We’ve also been receiving questions about our workout downloads. You can get the workout as a single long file, or you can get it broken into tracks to more easily choose the segments you would like to do. If you have the folder containing the individual files, and you want to play the whole thing, just press Enter on the M3U file we have included.
We’re happy to let you know that CD’s of Chair Yoga and the Whole Body Stretch are now here. You can order them through our website, or contact us for more help and information.
As we said before, Podcast 66 contains an interview with Jennifer Kern, but it also contains a “Let’s Eat” segment, which is a favorite with many. On this one, Peggy gives us some unusual recipes using cauliflower. You can make your own riced cauliflower, or buy it in the frozen foods section of your grocery store. The fascinating thing is that you can use it nearly anywhere you use rice. We went exploring to see if it could even be used in dessert, and it turns out that it can. Here is one of many recipes we found – this one from the Cookies to Kale site.
