Blessed with Bounty Beyond Measure

When reading the affirmation at the end, insert the name you give our Good and Kind Creator.
“We have not because we do not believe.”
Good morning to all! I hope you’re feeling Splendid on this Sensational Saturday.
Here, Chief Seeing Eye® Dog Blue and I’ve had our walk which was filled with glorious birdsong, the golden warmth of the rising sun, the feel of the due on the grasses, flowers and trees and the scent of the cool spring air which was delightful beyond words.
Today, will be a busy day in my kitchen, for it is full to bursting with Goodness and Nutrition.
On Thor’s Day, which in my faith is a day of attracting more of what you have, I received a food box delivery from the Second Harvest Food Bank, and I was amazed at the bounty Mother Father God provided for me.
There were dried goods such as rice, pasta, beans, breakfast cereals and mixed fruit and nuts. There were canned soups, vegetables, pasta sauces, peanut butter and even a huge jar of grape jam.
There was fresh produce including, sweet potatoes, huge baking potatoes, onions, apples, and the biggest head of cabbage I’ve ever seen.
There were six packages of sausage paddies and a dozen large eggs.
On Friday, I sent my new helper to the grocery for me and she found a huge package of boneless chicken breasts on sale and a large pack of ground beef among all the other items which were on my list so today I’ll be separating meats and packing them into servings appropriate for me, making cold slaw, baking potatoes to have on hand when I want a quick bite a quick breakfast of fried potatoes with onions and scrambled eggs or when I want to make a stew.
I also plan to make my own apple pie filling and then, if all goes to plan tomorrow, I’ll make fried pies.
I’m so blessed it is unbelievable to me and it’s all because last week, when I was feeling so low, I thought I might have to crawl on my belly to survive I prayed and asked Mother Father God to give me a blessing and just like that, it came.
Though there are some things which truly leave me feeling at sea due to my living situation there are just as many more blessings which anchor me, and I only needed a gentle reminder.
Another wonderful thing which took place this week happened yesterday during mine and Blue’s evening walk. We stopped by a neighbor’s apartment on our way home to chat with a group of friends sitting in the yard and one of them said she’d been gifted with some pants and a shirt which turned out not to fit her need and so she offered them to me.
This morning, I tried them on, and one of the two pairs of pants and the shirt fit and since the other pants were too small, I’ll gift them to another so someone else may be blessed too.
The point of this rambling tale is, when we’re feeling like we’re stagnating in a pit of quicksand all we need to do is to raise our voices, call to our Good and Kind Creator, look and see the blessings pouring down all around us.
Ask and we shall have.
Seak, and we shall find.
Believe and it is done.
All we need, want and desire is waiting for us to reach out and have it.
Sometimes I forget but when I’m mindful I know…
There is no part of my life which does not belong to the Goddess.
There is no part of my body which does not belong to the Goddess.
I am she and she is me.
We are one and we are we.
I am loved, sheltered and always safe and cared for.
So Mote It Be.
