  1. Yes Patty it’s good, lay out simple and tells us how you arrived in the here and now. We have a weekly BBC radio programme ‘In Touch’ from which I learn quite a lot, the presenter was blind from birth. So I have heard how difficult is with Covid for people waiting for their first or a new guide dog. I guess the puppies lined up for training will be past their sell by date by the time things are back to normal. I hope it’s not too long before you can get to know a new dog.

    1. Well, hi.

Thanks for reading and for commenting.

Actually since the puppies must be with a puppy raiser family for at least one year before they even start readying to go into training, and then must train with a trainer for nearly 4 months before being considered for the handout phase I’d say that things will go right on as planned for the majority of them once things reopen.

I can’t speak for any other school than The Seeing Eye but during the shutdown they put all the dogs in the kennel back with puppy raisers, or with trainers, and those pups who were with families have remained there.

The Seeing Eye puppy raiser families are in direct contact with trainers and have assigned tasks for them and their charges to work on.

      Food For Thought

We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.
