Good morning faithful followers. I hope Monday finds you well.
I’ve just looked at my Rambles Blog and realized how horribly behind I am.
At the end of last week after receiving cancerous news from the doctor, I decided it was time to get down to it and allow myself to be one hundred percent committed to ‘The Blended Lives Chronicles’ I wanted to totally immerse myself in the Federation. I wanted to know the Clear Bloods and feel their cold anger. I needed to reconnect with Laya, Derrick and all those who were following them supporting and lending their energies to them as the story unfolded.
Somehow, I’d gotten lost along my way, and it felt right that this total immersion took place.
So, I laid in groceries and wine, I scheduled posts, I charged devices headphones and glasses, and I made sure everyone who needed to know knew I was Okay.
Well, the scheduling failed. Nothing went out. Why? Because I forgot to schedule.
There’s nothing to do but go forward. The truth is as written of above. I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself completely into the various worlds of ‘The Blended Lives Chronicles’
Saturday found me writing a complete description of the third book in the trilogy. I cooked something yummy to eat in the late afternoon and threw myself back into the writing in the late evening after a nap.
The weekend continued with more of the same. Writing half a day, editing things written before this self-imposed solitary confinement and I worked harder than I ever have in my life.
On Sunday, I wrote furiously from early in the morning until Blue shoved me up and out of my chair four hours later.
Because I’d eaten nothing all day, I cooked a huge chicken stir-fry and enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine.
After that
A long nap ensued and I woke up with what I determined was a food hangover. I finished the first book in ‘The Blended Lives Chronicles a Lady MoonWalker Series and started the second. I talked about it on Facebook. I wrote notes to friends, editor and beta reader letting them know what was going on.
Blue enjoyed all the reading time because it was mostly spent snuggling up with him. It’s too cold out to do nothing more than let him relieve and sniff a bit so reading and snuggling are high on his list.
Now, Monday is here and it’s time to catch up with all the talented people who make Patty’s Worlds go round.

I’m not ashamed to say, I stopped the screen reader often so I could reread or take a note about things being taught right in the post about forms and syllables, their count etc.
I realized I’ve many poems which I could put into these forms.
Not having vision presents challenges for knowing how things are written. Until I regain more braille skills having things written so instructively is a true learning experience.

The Blended Lives Chronicles is a speculative fantasy series that blends interplanetary politics, magick, prophecy, and resistance against oppression. At its heart is Lady Laya MoonWalker, a High Priestess, author, and advocate whose life’s work is dedicated to dismantling systems that divide beings by race, creed, ability, or perceived purity.
In Book I, Sides of the Order, Laya, who lives and works on Planet Korponious, travels to Casimia as a respected journalist and spiritual leader, newly aligned with the Blended Lives Federation. Any time you like you’re welcome to text or call. You won’t bother me. There will be some spaces where I don’t show much. I really need to focus on getting this trilogy finished. I’m not expecting a bad outcome, but Phyllis Campbell was not either and Uterine Cancer is what took her from this world. I walked that journey with her and watched her fight to stay well enough to finish her writing goals. She wanted them all under one brand and although the company she went with screwed her on the price, and it was far too late to back her out once I found out, I held those people accountable and she got them all out.
I just want to make sure the trilogy gets wrapped up.
I plan to write more of them in the future.
