ANNOUNCEMENT ON BEHALF OF AUTHOR AND ARTIST LYNDA MCKINNEY LAMBERT Book Cover Contest #NewsNugget

Good Luck Lynda…

November 1, 2020

Hello to my friends and supporters,

I never planned to send out an announcement until late in December.

But I think this is important news and wanted to share it with you today.

My BOOK COVER for Walking by Inner Vision: Stories & Poems, is featured in the COVER of the MONTH Contest at AllAuthor!

VOTING IS NOW OPEN and of course, it is FREE. I was really pleased it was included for this project.

I need to get into the TOP 100 votes – in order to move on in the contest so I sure appreciate your FOTE.

Walking by Inner Vision: Stories and Poems – is now one of 375 book covers in the contest.

You can vote every day!

When I brought up my book cover this morning, it had one vote so that made me feel happy to see that someone voted for my cover.

Of course, I voted too, so it has 2 votes as we speak.

After I voted for my cover – I looked at all of the others and I voted for many of them, too. I know how good it feels to know that someone likes your book cover, and I wanted to encourage other authors in the contest as well. Please do the same and encourage other writers – it takes only a few seconds to vote and I know that others will appreciate your vote, too. We are all in this together.

Thank you kindly for considering my book cover and for your vote. You can find it at this link:

For my visually impaired friends, I give this description of my cover:

The cover’s background is a deep forest green. There is a detail view of the Yellow Crown Beard in bloom. I took the photo when I was diligently memorizing every detail of the woods along the creek by my home. It was during the month of September and I needed these details so I could write my essay, “Try to Capture September,” which is an essay in my book.

The cover was designed by David Dvorkin of DLD Books – using my photograph. The lettering over the deep green background is white – so it is really a gorgeous cover. I am very grateful for the artistic design that the Dvorkins created when putting together and editing my book which came out in 2017.

Other information on this book:

I am also delighted to let you know the book is available to blind and visually impaired or print challenged readers through National Library Services and BARD (DBC 11608) The reader is Polly Slavet, and she does a beautiful job – her voice is just perfect for my writing pieces. I am so blessed to have her record this book! Polly recorded my book at Perkins Library, and from there it was added to the NLS Library for word-wide distribution.

You can find Walking by Inner Vision: Stories & Poems on Audible (14.95) Kindle (3.99), and print (14.95) at Amazon:

For Audible the book is recorded by California actor, Lillian Yves, and it was so much fun working on this project with her. She brings an entirely different perspective to reading my work – and I think you will love it, too.

My book can also be purchased through every major retail bookseller – such as Barnes & Noble an others.

If you like e-books, then please consider getting this book on Smashwords – it is only $3.99 – click this link : https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/705955

I deeply appreciate your encouragement and your vote for my cover! Thank you so much.
