🎿 🕎 🎅 🎄 🤶
It’s a time of thankfulness and gratitude for me. I began this newsletter last year and hoped  to complete the yearly cycle with posts geared toward connecting us.
2020 was a time of hope and sorrow. 2021 healed and revealed though things change, we allowed ourselves to follow the path of recovery. It wasn’t easy, or fun, or met with cheers yet we all found our way. Some of us found gifts like a shining pebble in the sand, to tuck into a pocket and touch during challenging times.
Here are a few literary pebbles I’d like to share with you. First, a book review of One Glittering Wing by poet Joan Myles:

Next, an article with a journalistic focus:
And finally, an interview with Karina (KKantas), the host of the author’s assist podcast and the Artist First Radio Network, talking all things creativity and writing. Karina lives in the Greek Isles and it was a great show. To visit with us and enjoy the conversation, click here.
As always, thanks for your support and willingness to follow me and my journey.
My intention for each of you from now and into the new year is to find laughter and smile, share joyful moments, comfort one another when necessary, and look to a year built upon love and kindness.
From our family to yours,
Annie, Jerry, April, dogs Bailey and May, cats Papa, Bagheera and Luna and cookie the guinea pig.
And don’t forget Dreya the book dragon. 😉
1Dreya the book dragon. She is red and green, smiles amid floating books and winged musical notes.
