A walk down Christmas memory lane and more

Its about mid December, and Im remembering how frantic we would be as students at the Arkansas School for the Blind right about now as we would get ready for the Christmas performance. It was such a magical time with real Christmas trees set up in various areas of the campus adorned with lights and the wonderful smell of the trees. Jeannies choir would carol throughout the halls during classes and surprise the daylights out of teachers and students. Such incredible memories. The choir would be running all over the place performing for other schools, banks, churches, state legislative sessions, etc, not to mention our own Christmas event at the school which was always standing room only. This is what you will see in the movie, A Jeannie For Christmas, next year. My profound thanks to the American Council of the Blind and the American Foundation for the Blind for their wonderful endorsements of this project, and of course to all of you who helped raise funding for the incredible screenplay written by Sheila Boyd. So much to look forward to.
