A Poem by Anna Kamienska | Jewniquely Myself

Funny What’s it like to be a human the bird asked I myself don’t know it’s being held prisoner by your skin while reaching infinity being a captive of your scrap of time while touching eternity being hopelessly uncertain and helplessly hopeful being a needle of frost and a handful of heat breathing in the…

  1. Thank you, Patty!

    1. Hi Joan. You are welcome. Sorry it doesn’t give you a ping back when I share it this way. They re-blog button still is not working for me. I guess I’m going to have to break down and write to word press. Not that it will do any good LOL. They never seem to answer much. And when they do they just refer me to the community which has all kinds of answers none of which do any good. LOL. I just wanted to get the word out about your blog and what you were sharing.

    2. Hello again Joan.

      I love your poetry.

I’d love to have you write for my Author’s Corner a piece on what inspired you to write your book of poetry, and talk about how you use poetry to tell your story.

I’ve asked Abbie to do similar.

I want to try and share with my readers about this fascinating writing.

I am learning so much about poetry from you two.

I’m also going to ask Annie Chiappetta about doing something similar because she uses poetry in her writing as well.

      I never really understand poetry.

One day shortly after I began exploring my faith, I realized that when I wrote “Spells” which are the same as “Prayers” that I was in a way writing poetry.

But I don’t know one poetry type from another.

Love you and all you do.
