A Message of Love from author Wanda Luthman #Inspiration

Good afternoon, the following is a special message from friend and fellow author Wanda Luthman.

Though, this message was originally written for Valentine’s Day, I feel it is appropriate for any day of the year. For, as friend and fellow author Joan Myles pointed out to me earlier this week, we should follow the theme of Valentine’s Day each day.

Now, here’s Wanda with her message of love…

If you don’t have someone to spend Valentine’s Day with and you’re feeling sad and lonely, I got you!

Hi Faithful Followers,

If you’re alone on Valentine’s Day, it can be very difficult. I am alone too.

As you probably know, I lost my husband nearly 3 years ago. I don’t have that special someone to spend Valentine’s Day with anymore.

And Valentine’s Day was special to us because it was the day he proposed to me.

But,even though, I could be feeling sad and sorry for myself, I’m finding myself not feeling that way. That’s because I have a relationship with God.

My relationship with God started way back when I was just 3 years old and my Mom introduced me to Jesus who came to earth to show us how much God loves us.

I grew up in the church, but I have definitely had times where I wasn’t very close to God. In fact, I wasn’t even wanting anything to do with him sometimes.

But, throughout the years, I would find myself coming back to God and needing His comfort and guidance.

This time, though, I had been walking closely with God and had even discovered Christian meditation that furthered the deepening of my relationship with Him.

Grief is a difficult journey and not one that people should walk alone, but sometimes you just are alone. I joined a GriefShare group which helped alot.

But basically, I spent hours and hours alone with God. I prayed. I wept. I read the Bible. I listened to Pastors preach. I listened to Christian music. And little by little, I started to feel better.

God met me in the valley of the shadow of death and comforted me. And I want to bring comfort to you as well.

If you don’t know God or used to go to church but never felt like you knew Him or have walked away from your faith, I would love to talk with you more about Jesus. Email me back and let me know where you’re at and let’s talk.

Mostly, today, I want you to know how very much God loves you. He loves you more than you can ever imagine. And, you’re not alone. You might feel like you are, but you’re not. God is with you. All you have to do is reach out to Him. He’s waiting to be your forever Valentine.

Love in Christ, Wanda
