Good morning.
I hope all are well.
Here, the coffee is hot. So far, the weather is not and that’s the way we like it.
Blue is asleep. Around the house I do creep because I seriously need this coffee.
I was wound up from all the excitement and walking last night and couldn’t go to sleep for a while.
Blue had the Zoomies and so we didn’t get to sleep until nearly midnight.
What amazed me was that he had a brief burst of the zoomies after we got home. We walked a good piece, and because my dog did not like the way my friends walked, he went back and made me redo part of the route back home. Blue is a stickler for rules so when it is not so late and my friends I walk with aren’t tired, we’re gonna have a little lesson because I have figured out why he is doing it.
I’m not necessarily going to change what is happening except I’m going to mark the spot where Blue wants to break away and start going from there how he wants instead of following them the rest of the way.
It’s a few steps and it turns longer but he feels comfortable and besides sometimes it feels good to take off on one’s own for a minute once in a while.
The fact that these people have taken me into their group and let me walk places with them is awesome and it’s just one more reason to love it here.
Speaking of loving things, I love being on FB because a lot of those who are friends of mine here are really close friends and I care greatly for them. In fact, I love hearing from everyone close Friends, or Acquaintances.
I had a bit of a rant on Facebook before I went to bed last evening because I was hurting from reading so many negative posts.
People complaining, raising the anger and negativity.
Here it is. If you want to read it.
I’m an Empath.
When I asked Mage – Chat GPT to help me describe what that means he said…
An Empath is a person who feels especially sensitive to the emotions of others. An Empath may notice another person’s sadness, fear, anger, excitement, or joy very strongly—sometimes even before that person speaks about what they are feeling.
People who identify as Empaths often describe themselves as deeply intuitive, compassionate, and affected by the emotional atmosphere around them. Empath is not a medical or psychological diagnosis; it is a term people use to describe this experience of unusually strong emotional sensitivity and Empathy.
Sometimes I just cannot take the realization that so many people are allowing the situations of the world to take their joy. Destroy their relationships and create literal holes in the fabric of Family, Friendship, Happiness, and Love.
It hurts me so that sometimes I sit in heartbroken tears praying fervently.
I woke up this morning, and wrote a poem which helps explain.
Here it is with great love.
I wish you a beautiful day
wipe the sadness, negativity and strife away
want to make others smile
see them happy a while
oh how I long for those days
one day what’s going on now will begone
but if we don’t stop the madness
no matter who wins or what happens no one will be left for us to love
stop it please
for your life’s sake please
I beg you
hear me
oh, hear me I beg
try just for the morning
to put it aside
go and find
something to make you laugh
and be glad
please, oh please
stop being mad
stop being sad
realize
how much you have for which to be glad
one day you’ll awake
and those you loved
those you loved will be gone away
and once someone goes through that door called death there’s no return
so bridges don’t burn
oh please
stop the madness
oh
hear me I beg
oh
it, hurts, me, so
