MOON PHASE NEW.

Good morning.

I hope this note finds you doing super. I hope that when your morning begins, that it does so in a better way than did mine. I woke at around 6:30 all sweaty. (Let the night-sweats of middle-age begin) So, up I got and went for a bath. First, I ran the tub too full and when I got in it promptly ran over. Next, just as I was getting ready to get out Eddy gave a mighty cry and threw-up. Poor cat, he, like Celine Kitty from long ago did, always cries just before getting sick. Luckily, he always gets sick in the same spot and so it was easy to clean.

Once that was done, it was off to the dryer for some clothes! “GRR! Why aren’t these dry?” I fairly yelled. So, I turned them back on, wrapped myself into a large towel and headed for a much-needed coffee. Whilst making my cup, I went to pour in the water, and suddenly the dam broke and a flood of water was flowing all over the counter and splashing into the floor. “What in all…?” I demanded. Turned out, yesterday I must’ve started to make a cup and then changed my mind or somehow gotten called away from it before finishing and had already poured water in.

Once that was cleaned up and coffee was dripping gloriously into my cup, sending its rich, delicious odor out into the air I went back to the dryer in hopes that something half decent would be ready to put on. I found a pair of leggings and started to put them on when suddenly… RIP! “Are you flipping kidding me? What did I do to deserve all this?” I wondered as my fingers ran over the large hole which had appeared down the side of what were my favorite leggings. So, into the trash they went and back to the dryer I looked. Finally, I was dressed, a cup of coffee was to hand, and I could begin the day.

So, how goes it for you? I hope you got some laughter out of my crazy morning.

Thanks for reading. May harmony find you and blessid be.

  1. Well! When it rains, it pours. I’m actually having a quiet morning, just the dog and me. She’s sleeping in my lap as I type. No one else is up. I couldn’t sleep after about three-thirty, so I got in the shower. My daughter was in her room, singing! But she was asleep when I checked on her. I’ve heard of talking in one’s sleep, but singing? She woke up and wondered why I was in the shower before four in the morning, but she went back to bed after that. I get a lot done when I have the house to myself.

    • Back when I had lots of people living with me I used to love to get up early in the morning and have my house all to myself. It was glorious.

I still like the early morning. No one making demands on my time or expecting me to jump the moment they speak out on social media or in an email. LOL.

      Singing? Interesting.

Thanks for reading and commenting. All has settled down now and so I hope that is the end of it for the day. Of course I did have one more calamity shortly after I wrote this. I realized I’d not brought in my trashcan and recycling bin from yesterday’s trash day. So I went outside to retrieve them and was in my house shoes. Of course, I stepped right into the mud!

      ARK!

LOL that was funny. I’m sure I’d have been cursing a mile a minute though if it had happened to me.

    • Hi.
Thank you for reading and for commenting.
I appreciate that. Yes, a great way to vent frustration, create a blog post, and have a little fun all at one time. I could only imagine what all of that would’ve looked like two and observer.

  5. Well, I’m sorry to say that my day has been going pretty well. This morning, I managed to edit another chapter of my young adult novel, while taking frequent breaks to answer email and text messages. Then, I did my blind alive interval training workout. Now, I am eating lunch and reading blog posts I get by email on my phone. Thank you for the good laugh. I hope the rest of your day is going better.
