The Click of a Pebble

Book 1 – The Children of Zeus

Only if Yöst keeps the supernatural powers of his family hidden will they remain safe from the witch hunt that has already killed his entire village, apart from two young children, Zande and Tatania.

Offered shelter by a family of gypsies, Yöst strikes up a close relationship with the son of the house, Rico. As their relationship deepens, Yöst begins to think the unthinkable, that he can stay at the farm, forgetting that as carinatae his date with destiny is waiting …

He had already said his prayers for the dead. Reaching the sand dunes, it was automatic to swing into the track that led to the beach, the yellow gorse flowers brushing against his jacket sleeve leaving a dusting of pollen. Hearing the footsteps behind him stop, he swung round.

    Hi Patty

The attached came to me on Tuesday and it is Saturday.

I loved the teaser but I do need to change the blurb and make it more inviting. It’s not attracting an audience of readers. Yes, they have to be more literary minded. However magical realism isn’t quite the same as fantasy because it plays out in the real world

Now the pressure is easing somewhat – although I had to take my computer in again yesterday. Fortunately the repair man is a great friend, or at least he has come to be a great friend.

So my work over this weekend is to find a new blurb which I will load up after the price offer.

    Also blog for Monday.

    With best wishes

      Hi Barbara.

May I recommend someone to assist you with creating inviting blurbs?

If I were you, I’d get with Claire Plaisted and talk with her and Mara the lady who does the cover for my Grapevine magazine. Claire and Mara are assisting me with blurbs for my cover reveal and all sorts of other great stuff and they’re awesome.

Get in touch with me if you’d like contact info, or see the credit on at the beginning of my magazine.

      Have a great day.

      Food For Thought

We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.
