My Corner

Today, I’m reblogging a post in which Dr. Crystal Grimes shows us how to play a recorder while wearing a mask. Having recently attended a virtual jazz concert, during which the brass and wind players did not wear masks, I found this idea quite ingenious and wonder if it would work with other mouth instruments. Of course, it would take a lot more air to project the sound through the mask, but it might be worth considering. If you play a trumpet, horn, or other such instrument, please let Crystal and/or me know what you think after checking out the demonstration linked to below.

No problem. Glad to do it.

I thought I’d saved the original the other day but somehow never found it so I am glad it was on Abbie’s blog today. Neat post.

      Food For Thought

We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.
