Thank you for the share today – I am so close to getting the cover to move on to the Top 100 – I decided I better try to get some action going. I spent the morning writing the piece for the 2 blogs and putting it on FaceBook – and even to the If You Grew Up in Ellwood City Group – on FB. It’s worth a shot to see if I can garner a few more votes to boost the book cover into the Top 100.
It’s a glorious sunny day – and I need to plant bulbs and get it over with. I put off gardening as long as I can – I actually hate to do gardening – I really hate being out there doing it – but I like the blooms in the spring and summer, so I soldier up and go out to plant the bulbs. Does Harvey die completely off during the winter? I don’t remember if they die off and then re-grow in spring – I’ve never had any luck with hydrangea’s. I had one glorious bush a long time ago – and I had another one that was brilliant blue flowers – but both did not survive for very long. Now, I planted about 5 brand new starts of Lilac Bush Hedge – so I hope they make it through the winter and maybe they will grow in the spring/ But with hydrangeas, I’ve spent a lot of money on about 5 different ones – and they all die.

Hi Lynda.
Iâve no idea if Harvy will come back or not.
I buried him up to his little branches in mulch, and covered him with a large sheet and tucked it all in around him and weighted it down with rocks. His blooms of course all died, but in spring, I plan to trim back all the dead and see what might come from the roots still in the ground.
Might be wasting my time, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Good luck on your book cover.

Food For Thought
We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.

Hi again Lynda.
I just looked it up to be sure and I found out that I did all the right things. Says that in spring when the days begin to warm is when to prune them but until then to do just what I did.
