Why don’t you take a ride with me this week, as I answer these questions about cars? Then, be sure to click on the link below my answers to learn how you can participate in this weekly blog feature.

What car do you remember your parents owning when you were a child? Do you have any special memories attached to it?
When I was eight or nine, growing up during the 1960;’s in Tucson, Arizona, my parents owned two white Mercedes Benz, which they affectionately named. Mother drove 220S Baby, the interior of which, including the seats, was white. Dad drove Buddy, with its dark interior and seats of a dark print color. 220S Baby had air conditioning, necessary during those hot Arizona summers, while Buddy did not. These cars stuck with us until after we moved here to Sheridan, Wyoming, in 1973.
How important are cars to you?…

Good morning Abbie.
Iâm glad to do it.
So far my day has been fabulous.
Iâve had breakfast, done my workout, had a shower and have also already begun work for the day.
Iâve some work to do this morning on a specific promotional task, and then the afternoon will be devoted to some work needing done on my book.
I hope to get done by about 3 or 4 in the afternoon so I can hang out and listen to the updates as they begin coming in about the election.
However this plays out, tomorrow weâre going to awaken to a very different life.

Food For Thought
We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.

Wow, you are way ahead of me. Good luck.

Well, in all fairness, Iâm two hours ahead of you.
However, unless Iâm feeling poorly, I always hit the floor running.
Usually, Iâm thumbing through notifications on my phone, retweeting and answering emails as I wash face, brush teeth and hair and make my first cup of brew.
Then itâs email and blogging, or in this case, reblogging.
Then to the task of the day. Which, Iâve just completed.
So now, a brief break and then to writing.
I donât believe in wasting time.

Well, I hit the floor running, two hours later than you. LOL! But you’re amazing. I’ve never been good at multitasking, but I don’t like to waste time, either. I do my best.

I donât multitask as well as I once did.
Years ago when I worked as a volunteer coordinator I could do about three or four things and do them extremely well all at once.
Now, I can handle a couple things at a time.
Basically, in the morning, Iâm depending on a lot of voice command driven stuff to allow me to read and answer emails and as to the tweeting and FB I usually do that while the coffee is brewing.
The Twitter and FB stuff is basically swipe and tap.
A few things have to be answered but I can do that simply via the dictation unless the response needs to be very long and professional. Then I just go back to it when on the computer.
I do a lot of instant messenger first thing if Iâm up early enough to catch Claire before sheâs off for bed.
I have been known to stand at the counter with Laptop in front of me and phone in hand while waiting on coffee or something.
My neighbor told me the other day she wished she couldâve taken a picture. She saw me through the opened back door.
I wish she had, it would have made for a great promotional pic.
LOL.
She said, âYou were standing there in robe and slippers, hair flying all around blurry eyed can of coffee and laptop in front of you and phone in hand.
LOL.
Thatâs me!

Wow, that would’ve made a great promotional picture. My late husband was like you. When he was young and worked for JBL and swim quip in California, he could multitask with the best of them. We all have our strength.

Just finished lunch, got my medication delivery, and the headphones I ordered over the weekend came a day early. So, I think considering itâs almost noon, todayâs shaping up fairly well.
