He was wanted. He was loved,
even after he suffered two paralyzing strokes.
I cared for him until he left this world.
Even when I made mistakes,
his soft words and gentle touch spoke volumes.
Most of my memories of our time together are happy ones,
but we encountered obstacles I wasn’t sure could be overcome.
Through good times and bad, our love for each other remained unconditional.
