Crazy Q&A Fun! #TMITuesday

This morning, I’ve decided to join in the fun happening over on the tmituesdayblog

I’ve found when answering such questions as are found in something titled TMI Tuesday it’s best not to overthink things but rather to let down your hair and go with the flow.

Anyhow, here we go.

  1. What is the biggest part of your body?

The biggest part of my body is my hind end. It bugs me to distraction. No matter how much I exercise I can’t seem to lose weight there.

However, lots of guys over the years, have declared it to be their favorite part of me so I reckon that’s not so bad. 😘

  1. What is the best bad decision you have ever made?

When I read this question, I took best bad decision to mean a bad decision which in the end turned out good. 🤔 Thinking along those lines, my answer would have to be having moved from a house I loved and had one day hoped to make my own into the house I’m living in now.

Although I deeply miss my old place and would give anything to be back there some good did come from my having moved here.

I’ve made some new friends, gotten to know some old ones better, and best of all because I refused to take no for an answer we now have a bus stop on the corner of our street which makes it easier for those without the ability to drive or who don’t wish to use their cars all the time to get around. It also makes the location of all the houses in this area more valuable.

  1. What is the silliest reason you got into a fight with someone?

The story of the silliest fight I ever got into with someone goes like this…

A year or so ago, I was dealing with Shingles. I was feverish, uncomfortable, and feeling rather out of sorts.

A guy with whom I had an on again off again relationship had called to see how I was doing, and somehow, something he asked me rubbed me the wrong way, and though I tried to hide it my annoyance crept into my tone.

He got offended, we argued and he made one of those “go F yourself” statements he was so great at making when he got like that and I having had quite enough of that type of high-school behavior promptly hung up on him.

Because I refused to apologize, we’ve not spoken since, and I wish I could make things right between us again.

Lesson? Don’t talk to someone on the phone or any other way if you can help it when you feel bad.

  1. What is your favorite thing about your best friend?

I’ve two best friends. One is a lady I met through my work as a writer and Social Media Marketing Assistant. She’s become a sort of mother figure to me and my favorite thing about her is that she doesn’t pretend to be something she’s not. She’s smart, funny, and at times brutally honest and I’m the better for having known her.

My other best friend is my now retired Seeing Eye Guide Dog named King Campbell Lee A.K.A. Bubba.

Campbell and Patty

Throughout my life, many people have come and gone. Some by my choice, some by theirs and some due to circumstances beyond their control but through it all Campbell stands true. I am his human mother and he is my son.

  1. If 5 men take about 3 hours to dig 3 holes, how long will it take for 2 men to dig half a hole?

I didn’t like math word problems in school and don’t like them now. So, just as I did when those questions popped up on my math quizzes then I’m leaving this lank.

😉

Bonus: Would you rather be itchy or sticky for the rest of your life?

I hate both things, but I suppose if I must make a choice, I’ll choose sticky. If I’m itchy I’ll be scratching all night and never get to sleep. Then again, if I’m sticky, by morning, I’ll be stuck to the sheets and it’ll be harder than ever to get out of bed. 🤣

OK fellow bloggers and faithful followers, it’s your turn.

If you dare to unlock your imagination go and answer the questions.

If you don’t have a blog, just copy the questions, answer them and put the whole hot mess into the comment section of this post.

Have fun!

  1. Crazy Q&A Fun! #TMITuesday

    1. What is the biggest part of your body?

Um, let’s put it this way. I’m not a B-cup or a C, either. Some have called me top heavy. When I was dating, especially online, I sometimes had to worry that men were interested in the twin peaks more than they were in less tangible assets I could bring to the table. Speaking of dating, you couldn’t pay me a million dollars a minute to go through that again. I’m so done!

    2. What is the best bad decision you ever made?

Well, if we’re talking about recklessness, I threw caution to the wind one hot summer afternoon and made a baby. But she’s the greatest blessing I’ve ever had in my life, and I’ve never once regretted that decision, not for a single nanosecond.

    3. What is the silliest reason you got into a fight with someone?

The first time I ever dropped the f-bomb on someone, I was eighteen. So it was thirty-two years ago this summer. Looking back, it was ridiculous, and I hope the other person has forgotten all about it. We’ve lost contact, so I’ll never know.

The two of us had been asked to fill a bunch of those cheap spring-loaded metal napkin holders you see at fast food restaurants for an event at a summer camp. My partner was unwrapping and stacking the napkins as I stuffed them into the holders. But he kept getting distracted, so our system wasn’t working well.

“Hurry up, slowpoke,” I razzed him in a good-natured way. “We’re burning daylight.”

“You’re just too quick for me,” he shot back with a sharp edge in his voice. “I guess we found a job a blind person can be good at. Stuffing napkins into metal holders suits you.”

That hit me the wrong way, and the f-bomb flew out between my lips before I got them zipped. My partner stalked off before I could apologize, and I was left to finish the napkins by myself.

    4. What is your favorite thing about your best friend?

I’ve got a best friend I’ve had since my freshmen year of high school. We don’t see each other often these days because we both have busy lives. But when we do get to catch up, it’s like no time has passed at all. We pick up right where we left off, chatting and laughing. I love that about her.

    5. If 5 men take about 3 hours to dig 3 holes, how long will it take for 2 men to dig half a hole?

The thing is, one man can dig half a hole in no time at all. But two of them will lean on their shovels pretty soon to rest. They’ll start jawing about football … or fishing … or cars … or women … and so much for the digging.

Bonus: Would you rather be itchy or sticky for the rest of your life?

Itchiness sets off my fibromyalgia and makes my skin burn like fire, so I can’t handle that. I hate feeling sticky with red eyes of fury, but I guess stickiness it is. I’m used to sticky kid fingers anyway.

      Food For Thought

We all are the Light, automatically. So we really don’t have to go too much further than that. We all have a Light within us – it is the Soul; it is that spark of God, of the Divine, that activates our consciousness.
