Good morning everyone. I hope all are well this day.
As many know I’ve been looking very aggressively for work.
As some of you also know I was hoping to go over to Food City this morning and speak with someone from Volunteer Blind Industries concerning my possibly going to work there.
I was not able to manage to get to Food City where the man I want to speak with is being interviewed.
Since I did not have a scheduled appointment and they did not even know I was coming I decided not to stress about it.
I called my friend Dave who is the host of the talk show AM Tri-Cities and will be doing the interview and asked him to give the guy my phone number, and have him call me.
I want to find out how to fill out an application for them now that VR/Blind Services is no longer referring out to them for employment.
I am hopeful and so we shall keep praying.
For those who do not know the place is called Volunteer Blind Industries and they have a factory in Morris Town Tennessee and Johnson City Tennessee.
If you’re interested in learning about this for employment purposes or to help the organization in some way as it is a nonprofit you should listen to the show.
Here is all the information on the show and how to listen.
This is a radio show, is done live and is not recorded.
If you don’t listen at 10 AM Eastern at the listening info shown below you will not be able to go back and do it later.
And now, our awesome friend Dave Light to tell everyone all about the show and how to listen.

Hey, Beautiful Patty and Handsome Campbell,

Per your request:

The show is “AM Tri-Cities” (the show has been around for over 60 years—long story ) and is on the Holston Valley Broadcasting WKPT/ESPN family of stations. It can be heard at AM 1400, 1490 and 1590 and on FM 94.3, 97.7 and 97.9. Yes, those are six transmitters covering East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, a bit of eastern Kentucky, and Western North Carolina, and it’s also streamed live on the internet at http://espntricities.com I prefer to be contacted—initially, at least—by email at dave@wkptradio.com Non-profits, entertainment, regional heritage, things to do, and topics of general interest that enhance the quality of life in our region are our usual fare.

Many thanks for all you do. Give yourself a pat on the back and Campbell a hug for me.
Dave Light

Thanks Dave. I hope all will listen to the show.
Whether you’re interested in the subject matter of today or some other goings on in the area there is sure to be something of interest for you.
There will be other guests and announcements as well as the guest speaker from VBI, so I absolutely recommend that at 10 AM Eastern you grab a snack and cup of your favorite morning brew, get to a radio or find the show using the link shown above and learn all about our area.
It’s a neat place to live.
Have a wonderful day and blessid be.
