Trials Tests and Seven Years Together

Trials Testing and Seven Years Together

Hello to all.
Campbell and I are real glad you’ve stopped by here in campbellsworld.
We’ve got a tale to tell.
We’re not going to rant, not going to vent.
What we want to do is talk about some things that we’re going through, and how we wish to deal with them.

As you who follow us on a regular basis know, Campbell and I are readying to celebrate seven years together.
During these seven years we have faced many trials tests, and triumphs.
You also know we have recently moved into a new home, and although it is just a hop, skip, and jump from the old neighborhood it is just enough off our beaten path to cause a bit of confusion.

We have found that we cannot access things like our favorite store, and bus stops. Are having some ongoing matenance issues, and a real problem with our thermostat.

We’re hopeful to get all these issues resolved soon because they’re totally taking their toll on the old stress level. In the meantime, what can we do?

Well, after much snuggling, petting, licking, wagging, and loving together what Campbell and I have decided to do is to let go and let Mother Father God.

This is the full moon time. A time to release things that trouble us, and so on this night of the Blue Moon, we are going to snuggle together and release all of our trials and tests to Mother Father God because our Heavenly parents are bigger than all.

They are bigger than trials. They are bigger than troubles, and they will, if we allow help us to pass the tests of life that are thrown our way by the adversary.

Campbell and I have weathered many storms together and we shall weather this too. We know that with time and patience all things will come together for the good, and that if we allow the highest good will be served.

What are our hopes?

Well, we hope that…

• We can get a thermostat that will allow us to regulate the heating and cooling in our home so that it is not only more comfortable but that it helps to keep our power bill low.
• We are hopeful to make enough money with my work to fund the fencing we wish to finish so that Campbell can have a safe place to play in the summer evenings when the sun goes down and the cool of the evening is upon us.
• We are hopeful that all the little issues like door handles falling off and locks that do not work quite right can be resolved without too much effort or strife for our property owner, her workers, and her wallet, and we want these things to be done so that we do not have strife with anyone.
• We are also hopeful that our transportation needs can be met in a way that not only benefits us but KATS (Kingsport Area Transat) and the public at large as well.
We do not wish anyone any ill will, and we only want to live our lives in peace and in some resemblance of the way we used to do.

We are willing to meet everyone half way and only want the highest good to be done.

We are, as a rule, lovers not fighters, and while this full Blue Moon is in the sign of Libra, and the sun is currently in Ares and we know that there is some negative energy afoot, we know this too will pass, and that it is true:

“Today is yesterday’s tomorrow, and tomorrow is another day.”

We know that:

“There are three things that will never stay hidden for long, the sun, the moon, and the truth.”

We know we must:

• Be impeccable with our word.
• Never assume anything.
• Never take anything personal.
• Always do our best.

We know that sometimes I allow my frustrations to get the better of me, speak and act more quickly than I should, and that when I allow him Campbell helps me bring this under better control.

We release these trials to Mother Father God and wish for the highest good.

That all things shall be as they should.

We wish all a happy Easter, and hope that if you are experiencing trials and tests that you too will turn them to your higher power to care for and realize that all things both trials and tests can work to bring about wondrous things for all concerned if only we give over to the allowing.

Thanks again for dropping in and come again real soon.
Until next time this is Patty who is prayerful, and King Campbell A.K.A Bubba who is happy most of the time saying…
May all be known and shown.
May harmony find you, and blessid be.

Would you like to learn more about from where King Campbell comes from, and how we got our start together?
If so, keep reading.

The use of Tail instead of Tale for story and Magik instead of Magic is intended for these short stories. A great play on words from King Campbell

Author Bio
Patty Lyne Fletcher in her own words (October 2017
About me and my crew
I’m a single mother with a beautiful daughter, of whom I am very proud. I have a great son-in-law and five beautiful grandchildren. Three girls, and two boys. I hope to be able to write more about them later on. I own and handle a Black Labrador from The Seeing Eye™ named Campbell Lee—a.k.a. Bubba Lee or King Campbell, to give just a couple of his nicknames.
About my blindness
I was born one and a half months premature. My blindness was caused by my being given too much oxygen in the incubator. I was partially sighted until 1991, at which time I lost my sight due to an infection after cataract surgery and high eye pressure. I used a cane for 31 years before making the change to a guide dog.
Where I live and work
Currently, I live and work in Kingsport, Tenn. I used to work for CONTACT-CONCERN of Northeast Tennessee, Inc. I left that position in order to spend time with family and pursue my writing full time.
Why I write.
I wrote Campbell’s Rambles: How a Seeing Eye Dog Retrieved My Life to tell the story of how going to The Seeing Eye™ and getting Campbell, learning to love, handle, and work him, then coming home and adding him to my life, gave me true freedom. I tell of how changing from being a 31-year cane user to being a guide dog handler taught me things about myself I had never known before. I tell of the wonderment I experienced when I finally took that chance.
A major goal of mine is to help others who find themselves in domestic violence situations. I also want to help others learn more about mental illnesses and how different situations and environments can drastically affect those with such challenges. I tell how training affected me physically as a result of the fibromyalgia I deal with, along with the side effects of the medications I take. I focus on bipolar disorder, on how it can go horribly wrong and cause a person to behave in ways they normally would not.
Another thing I have attempted to show is how, in certain institutional settings, attachments can develop—and how those attachments can become unhealthy for all concerned if they are not handled correctly. Most simply, I want others to know more about me.
In Bubba Tails From the Puppy Nursery At The Seeing Eye, it is King Campbell Super Seeing Eye Dog A.K.A Bubba’s turn to tell his tale.
While helping to ready a group of pups to go and meet their puppy raiser families, so they too, might one-day become Seeing Eye dogs, he tells of what it was like for him, to grow up and become a Seeing Eye dog.
My hobbies
My hobbies include reading, writing, music, and standup comedy. I also like nature walks, light hiking, tent camping, and fishing. No, I am not afraid to bait a hook.
Music I enjoy
My favorite types of music are classic rock, rhythm and blues, and classic country, as well as some present-day country music. I also like meditation music.
My favorite books and authors
I enjoy fantasy, science fiction, and books about the supernatural. I love the books by Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and many more. My favorite books include
Stephen King’s Dark Tower series, J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time series, and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series.
My spiritual faith
I am a spiritual walker. I claim no particular faith, either Christian or pagan. I simply know that there is God and Goddess, or Mother Father God, as some call her/him. I lean toward the natural approach, or Druidism (Druidry), as it promotes harmony and respect for all beings, including the environment. I am also very interested in herbs and their healing properties.
