This Sunday March 4 marks the start of our ninth annual Read an Ebook Week promotion!
Enrollment is easy. Click over to https://www.smashwords.com/dashboard/sitewidePromos to enroll your books at discount levels of 25%-off, 50%-off, 75%-off or FREE. You’ll also find the link on the Smashwords home page.
For one week only, thousands of Smashwords authors and publishers will participate in this exclusive store-wide sale.
Participating books will be promoted on the Smashwords home page and throughout the Smashwords store. The sale will also be promoted to over one million customers of the Smashwords store.
The official home page for the promotion is at https://smashwords.com/ebookweek featuring downloadable badges and buttons you and your readers can share on social media to celebrate your participation.
Please also share the promotion with your author friends. This is a collaborative marketing event where the more you put into it, the more you get out of it. The more authors activity promoting their participating titles, the more readers there are for for all the participating authors.
It’s not uncommon for customers to stuff their shopping carts with dozens of deep-discounted books. Since your royalty increases as the customer’s checkout size increases, even 99 cent ebooks can earn up to 80% list. Offer readers a great deal, promote it across your social media channels, and have fun!
